Running vs TennisUpdated a month ago

Running and Tennis both have:

  • Cushion on the ball of the foot and heel
  • Flat knit instep (top of the foot)
  • Light padding in the arch for a better fit, more support and less pressure on the feet
  • A low profile toe seam to protect against rubbing and irritation

Tennis has padding that completely covers the top of the toes to protect against fast stops and lateral movement as well as to fill in the toe box of the shoe, while Running will have padding up to the toe seam to protect against runner's toe.
