Running vs BasketballUpdated a month ago

Running and Basketball both have: 

  • Cushion on the ball of the foot and heel
  • Flat knit instep (top of the foot) 
  • Light padding in the arch for a better fit, more support and less pressure on the feet
  • A low-profile toe seam to protect against rubbing and irritation

Basketball has padding that completely covers the top of the toes to protect against fast stops and lateral movement, while Running will have padding on the top of the end of the toe to protect against runner's toe.  

Basketball also has extended heel padding to protect the Achilles tendon.
