  • Light cushion in the arch and a cushioned instep for better fit and support
  • A low profile toe seam to protect against rubbing and irritation
  • Ventilation panels for moisture wicking
  • Gender specific, with both a men's and women's version

Here are the differences between the Maximum and Moderate Hiking socks:

  • Maximum Hiking is for day hikes or extended backpacking in most weather conditions, on varied to difficult terrain resulting in moderate to significant stress on the feet.
  • Moderate Hiking is for day hikes in warmer weather on flat to varied terrain, resulting in low to moderate stress on the feet.
  • Moderate Hiking contains Thorwick Cool fiber.
